Post or Beam Installation
1 1. Drill a small hole at a height of five feet or higher where you want to install the Eye Bolt
2. Screw in the Eye Bolt until it is secure and the ring of the Eye Bolt rests in a horizontal position.
3. Unscrew the Thumb Bolt from the Shackle and hook the Shackle to both the small ring of the Blocker Tie Ring and the Eye Bolt. Be sure that the tongue of the Tie Ring hangs so it curves back towards the post. Hand screw the Thumb Bolt back into the Shackle so it is secured. You are now ready to use your Blocker Tie Ring!

Cross Tie Installation
1 For Cross Ties, the Blocker Tie Ring can be installed one of two ways:
1. Install a pair of Blocker Tie Rings with the included hardware
2. If you already have cross tie rings in your barn or stable, simply attach a pair of Blocker Tie Rings to the existing cross tie rings with the included Shackles.

Picket & High Line Installation
1

To install the Blocker Tie Ring on a picket or high line, simply double up the picket line rope where you would like to hang the Blocker Tie Ring and put the loop through the large ring of the Blocker Tie Ring. Pull the loop of the picket rope through the large ring and over the top of the small ring and pull the ends taut. Now the Tie Ring is secure.

After you have installed the Blocker Tie Ring on the picket or high line, anchor your line as usual. For tying horses to the ring, use the Blocker Tie Ring as directed in our How To Use page.

Trailer Installation
1 The Blocker Tie Ring is easy to install inside and outside trailers too! Simply use the included Shackle to attach the Blocker Tie Ring to the existing tie ring on your trailer.
